There’s No Place Like Home

“We miss you, please come home.”

I don’t know who wrote it but the handwriting looks familiar.
It made me happy and quickly grab my bag but something is in the corner of my eye.

I slowly turn around and saw my steel barred windows.

  1. Excellent! The only thing I saw which was confusing, ” I don’t know who wrote it but I know it’s handwriting”. This is a conflicting statement. If you knew the handwriting then you would know who wrote it. — Just my humble opinion.

  2. Sounds like a bummer of a situation. Technical comment: if you were to flip the phrases in the handwriting sentence, I think it would better convey the “this is from someone I know but I can’t quite place him/her” sentiment: “The handwriting looks familiar, but I don’t know who wrote it.”
